We cordially invite you to a lecture of JUDr. Mgr. Tomáš Michalík, PhD
under the title „The Fate of the Beckov Jews“. The lecture will be held
on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 4 pm in Kúria Ambrovec Museum
(filial branch of the Trenčín Museum in Trenčín). The lecture pays
tribute to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust in terms of the
Memorial Day for Victims of the Holocaust and of Racial Violence
(September 9th).
This event is part of the DRAGON project (Restoration of the western palace of the Beckov Castle)
The DRAGON project received a grant from the EEA and Norway and the state budget of the Slovak Republic for the restoration of the western palace and interior equipment in the amount of €983,557. The goal of the project is to bring the West Palace and the entire area into a form that will respect and emphasize the preserved historical values from the High Gothic and Renaissance periods.
